Nicos Kourounakis is the Co-Author of the PM\u00b2 Project Management Methodology of the European Commission (2012, 2016, 2018), the Agile PM\u00b2 Guide (2014), the PfM\u00b2 Portfolio Management Methodology Guide (2019), and the ITSRM Guidelines on IT Security Risk Management (June 2020) of the European Commission.<\/p>\n

Over the past 9 years Nicos has led many consulting projects with major EU Institutions such as the European Commission, the European Council, the European Central Bank, the European Investment Bank and other EU Agencies.<\/p>\n

He was also the Project Manager of the EC\u2019s Open PM\u00b2 Initiative, a project aiming at bringing the PM\u00b2 Methodology and its benefits closer to EU Member States Public Administrations. He is also a founding member of the PM\u00b2-Alliance (www.PM2Alliance.eu<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Nicos has also been involved in many international projects in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Portugal, Luxembourg and Greece, working both with large organizations and with smaller ventures and start-ups.<\/p>\n

He holds an MBA from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, a MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada, and a BSc in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.<\/p>\n
