This year, IPMA Serbia successfully organized the 29th International Project Management Congress under the title “The Power of Collective Intelligence in Professional Project Management.”<\/em> The Congress was held from June 5 to 7, 2025, at Silver Lake and brought together esteemed experts and practitioners from various parts of the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The official opening ceremony was marked by welcome speeches from Prof. Dr. Vladimir Obradovi\u0107, President of IPMA Serbia, Prof. Dr. Mladen Vukomanovi\u0107, President of IPMA, and Prof. Dr. Aco Jovanovi\u0107 from the Faculty of Project and Innovation Management, along with Prof. Dr. Petar Jovanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

During the three-day event, participants had the opportunity to attend a rich program that included panels, workshops, a round table, and presentation sessions dedicated to contemporary challenges and opportunities in applying collective intelligence in project management.<\/p>\n

The Congress opened with a keynote address by Prof. Dr. Vladimir Obradovi\u0107 titled \u201cCollective Intelligence as a Response to the Deprofessionalization of Project Management in the Era of Geopolitical Turbulence.\u201d<\/em> This was followed by an inspiring presentation by Maja \u0160otra on \u201cThe Role of Purpose in Business Strategy: The Growing Influence of Collective Intelligence on the Purpose-Driven Economy,\u201d<\/em> as well as a lecture by Dunja \u0160piri\u0107, PMO Manager of the \u201cPalace of Science\u201d project, who spoke about project excellence as a function of scientific research and science popularization.<\/p>\n

A special impression was made by the presentation of students from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Tara Stanojevi\u0107 and Veljko Vu\u010deti\u0107, titled \u201cThe Collective Intelligence of Creative Chaos: How a Student Movement is Organized,\u201d<\/em> which rounded off the introductory part of the program.<\/p>\n

As the program continued, participants were particularly drawn to the panel discussions, notably the one on \u201cCollective Intelligence in Construction Project Management\u201d<\/em> moderated by Prof. Dr. Nenad Ivani\u0161evi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Great interest was also sparked by the round table on \u201cEstablishing a Project Function and PMO within an Organization,\u201d<\/em> led by Renato Golob.<\/p>\n

As part of the hybrid IPMA Young Crew workshop, Veljko Vu\u010deti\u0107 and Tara Stanojevi\u0107, in their roles as facilitators, used an interactive approach to highlight the potential of collective intelligence within student movements and non-formal education.<\/p>\n

All academic and professional papers presented at the Congress will be published in the official Proceedings of the 29th International Project Management Congress.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Congress gathered over 70 participants from six countries and various sectors, reaffirming its importance as a meeting point of knowledge, practice, and innovation in project management.<\/p>\n

IPMA Serbia extends sincere gratitude to all participants for their active contributions and for jointly creating a valuable space for exchanging experiences, ideas, and inspiration.<\/strong><\/p>\n
