IPMA Expands Horizons in Project Management Education and Training in Dubai

Representatives of IPMA, under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, visited the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), the largest higher education institution in the UAE. Among the attendees were members of the IPMA Serbia delegation – Prof. Dr. Vladimir Obradović and Prof. Dr. Marija Todorović.

Established in 1988, HCT is known for providing practical and effective education across its network of campuses and facilities in the United Arab Emirates. The institution is recognized for its innovative approach to education and its support for students in acquiring the knowledge and skills needed for professional success.

During the meeting, possibilities for collaboration were discussed in key areas such as:

  • Education and training
  • Certification programs
  • Organization of events and conferences
  • Awards and recognitions

These initiatives, to be implemented through the IPMA UAE office, aim to enhance the knowledge, skills, and global connectivity of students and professionals in project management.

IPMA President, Prof. Dr. Mladen Vukomanović, and Professor Khalid Al Marri, Chairman of the IPMA UAE Board, expressed great satisfaction with the opportunities this partnership offers, emphasizing the importance of innovation and excellence in project management.

As part of the visit, a ceremonial signing of an agreement with Baynounah Group was held, officially marking the beginning of IPMA’s strategic expansion in the MENA region. The focus was placed on:

  • Delivering high-quality education,
  • Certification and training,
  • Building a community of experts in the UAE.

This visit represents a significant step toward strengthening global collaboration and empowering professionals to achieve excellence in project management.
