29 May Collaboration projects with universities and companies from China within Belt and Road Initiatives
Collaboration with universities and companies from China is moving forward. Representatives from School of Management, Shandong University from Beijing, and Aihua International Education Technology Group will visit Serbia in June 2023. Dean prof. Wu Changqi, Vice-dean of International Affairs Zhou Shuo, professor of project management Ding Ronggui, Vice-president for Research from of the School of Management, Shandong University, and Mr. Zhang Quingkuo, chair of the Aihua Group will visit Serbia to promote collaboration projects with universities and companies within Belt and Road Initiative.
Belt and Road Initiative today gathers together 149 counties, including China, where European countries have a significant impact. The Belt and Road Initiative aims to implement infrastructural projects, and interconnect economies, where the importance of collaboration between companies, academic community and culture is extremely significant.
Among numerous ways to implement the Belt and Road Initiative, joint forums bring together representatives from different social and business spheres, enable networking and open new opportunities for cooperation.
Forum “Converging Forces: Road and Belt Initiative for Sustainable Societal and Economic Advancement” will be held on Jun 7th, 2023, at the Faculty of organizational Sciences, from 4PM to 7PM (CEST), organized by the Centre of interdisciplinary research in management.
Beside representatives from China, speakers of the Forum will be dr. Ivona Lađevac, Deputy director of Institute of International Politics and Economics, prof. Rebeka Danijela Vlahov Golomejić from Faculty for Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. The participants will be addressed by prof. Mladen Čudanov and Prof. Vladimir Obradović from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, as a host. Representatives of Chinese companies operating in Serbia will also participate in the Forum.

The goal of the Forum “Converging Forces: Road and Belt Initiative for Sustainable Societal and Economic Advancement” is to discover opportunities of the network of between universities, science and technology parks, industry, business incubators and accelerators, start-ups, research institutes and other institutions, to promote sustainable societal change, and economic prosperity, and innovative entrepreneurship.
In addition to participating in the Forum, professors from Shandong university are expected to meet the officials of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and different companies.
Forum “Converging Forces: Road and Belt Initiative for Sustainable Societal and Economic Advancement” is just the first of the events within IPMA Serbia 27. International Congress on Project Management “Interdisciplinarity as a key link of the project profession”, that will be held in June, 8-10th, 2023, in Vrnjačka Banja.
Representatives of the delegation from China will continue their visit to Serbia at the Congress, with working meetings with representatives of the academic community and business.
