Vladimir Obradović

IPMA Serbia President
Vladimir Obradović was born in Belgrade on May 5, 1977, where he also completed elementary and secondary school. In 2004, he graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Technical Sciences – Organizational Sciences.
Vladimir Obradović, PhD is a full professor and Head of the Department for Interdisciplinary Research in Management at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade. As a visiting professor, he was engaged in doctoral studies at the Alma Mater Europaea in Slovenia, and at the State University of Management in Moscow, at Master’s programme International Project Management.
With over 20 years of experience, he is a leading global expert in project management and a regional expert in the public sector.
Vladimir Obradović, PhD is Vice President for Finance, Operations, and Events of the International Project Management Association – IPMA, which has members from 70 countries, and President of the Serbian Project Management Association – IPMA Serbia. He is also the editor-in-chief of the European Project Management Journal and a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Project Management, the top-ranked journal in the field, as well as Project Leadership and Society and Information Technologies and Learning Tools Journal, both of which are renowned international publications.
In his teaching and scientific endeavors, he achieved noteworthy results. Publication of over two hundred scientific and professional papers, as well as student evaluations of teaching and mentorship, participation in committees, and support of student organization projects, have validated the scientific results.
He participated in over eighty professional and six scientific research projects.
He is fluent in English, is familiar with German, and is presently learning Spanish.
He is married and the father of three children.
