03 Mar Signed the Memorandum of Agreement with the Student Association of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences – SAFON

Serbian Project Management Association – IPMA Serbia and the Student Association of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences – SAFON, signed the Memorandum of Agreement. On behalf of IPMA Serbia, the Agreement was signed by prof. Ivana Berić, PhD, Vice President of the Association, while SAFON was represented by David Ković.
The SAFON gathers students of FON with the primary goal of encouraging professional and personal development of students. Through its projects, SAFON encourages the practical application of knowledge and provides numerous internships, promote leadership and career-building during studies.
The purpose of this Agreement is capacity building of SAFON members in the field of project management, as well as bringing the profession of project manager closer to students. The first in line of these activities is scheduled for the end of March 2022, where IPMA Serbia will deliver a workshop for members of SAFON at FONGRES.

We are looking forward to the beginning of this new cooperation.

We would like to remind you that the Serbian Project Management Association – IPMA Serbia offers various contents for young project managers and students within the Young Crew Serbia section. For members under the age of 35, in addition to the discount for participation on IPMA events and the discount on certification, IPMA Serbia organizes free lectures and workshops. In 2021, we have provided Young Crew Serbia members with „Speed dating“ event, where companies meet students. The main idea was to help students find professional internships and jobs, and enable them to talk in one place with representatives of companies: Elixir Group, Erste Bank, RTRK and Comtrade. Also, in 2021 we have organized IPMA Serbia Youth Awards where the best young project manager, the best research paper, and the best project led by a project manager up to the age of 35 were recognized and awarded with valuable prizes.
