The awarding of the IPMA certificate in the field of project management
On Tuesday, February 28th, 2023, the IPMA Serbia ceremonial awarded of IPMA certificates in the field of project management for candidates who successfully completed the IPMA certification program. In this certification cycle, seven candidates met the requirements and obtained the IPMA certificate – two candidates obtained the IPMA level C certificate – Certified Project Manager, while five candidates obtained the IPMA level D certificate – Certified Project Management Associate.

IPMA certificates are internationally recognized in more than 70 countries worldwide and highly valued and recognized among professionals in the field of project management in both the private and public sectors. We are particularly pleased that in the last years, the IPMA certificates are increasingly recognized among professionals from the public sector and government institutions. Among the candidates ceremonially awarded IPMA certificates, two were employed in the Directorate for European Integration and Project Management at the Ministry of Defense of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
After the ceremonial awarding of IPMA certificates, February 28th remained a sign of certification, as an online information session on certification was also held. PhD Danijela Toljaga-Nikolić, director of the certification body IPMA Serbia Cert, held the presentation. The certification info session aimed to familiarise professionals in the field of project management with the possibilities and benefits of possessing a certificate, as well as the prerequisites that candidates need to meet to participate in the certification process and the content of individual phases of the process. IPMA Serbia Cert, the certification body with a tradition of 17 years, is the only one authorized in our country to carry out certification in project management in accordance with the program of international IPMA certification of project managers.
